“I love VoiceThread because it represents a way that innovative programming software can foster communication and learning. I'm quite surprised I never heard of this program or site before. I was aware of programs that would allow users to see and control each other's computers as a form of communication, but VoiceThread seems to be a blend of this capacity, Google documents, and email. It is like Google documents in that it is something anyone with the proper access privileges can edit and it is like email in that users can check it and alter it at their leisure.
